TREATMENTS
Just like you, every experience is unique! I work with you to curate a personalized massage experience that facilitates wellness and meets your specific needs. I offer a fusion of Eastern and Western massage techniques that are influenced by Swedish massage, myofascial release, deep tissue and Thai massage.
Swedish Massage
The classic Western full-body massage that involves soft, flowing strokes and kneading to promote the ultimate in relaxation. This modality targets superficial muscles and increases circulation.
Deep Tissue Massage
A therapeutic technique that targets deeper layers of muscle by using slow, firm, intentional pressure to to relieve chronic pain and release tension. Deep tissue doesn’t always mean hard pressure.
Myofascial Release
Gentle sustained pressure is applied to the surface of the body to release tightness in the the connective “fascial tissue” that surrounds muscles. This technique softens restrictions in the fascia that develop through trauma, poor posture, or inflammation.
Trigger Point Therapy
A Western bodywork technique in which targeted pressure is applied to tender, tight "knots" in muscles, called trigger points, to relieve referred pain in the body and restore mobility.
Neuromuscular Modalities
Therapeutic techniques that alternate between passive and resisted muscle contraction in combination with passive stretching improves range of motion and communication between the nervous and muscular systems. Restoring the body's awareness of it’s position and movement in space.
Eastern Modalities
Inspired by ancient Eastern healing practices from Thailand and India this influence combines assisted stretching with firm pressure and long flowing sweeps to help relieve tension, improve flexibility, promote circulation and soothe the nervous system.
